A tragic incident occurred as a 40-year-old man was discovered dead in the Densu River at Torgah Kophe in the Ga South Municipality of the Greater Accra Region
The distressing news was confirmed by Joseph Akrashie, the Unit Committee Member for Domeabra when residents suspected murder.
The caller conveyed that an individual had been killed and dumped into the Densu River. Akrashie, accompanied by others, rushed to the scene to investigate.
Upon arrival, they lifeless body submerged in the river. Akrashie shared the challenges they faced in identifying the deceased due to the condition of the body.
Despite the grim circumstances, the police from Danchira successfully retrieved the body from the river, marking a tragic chapter in the community’s history.
The incident is now under investigation as authorities work to unravel the details surrounding the man’s untimely demise.
