Lucy Owusu Somuah and Christopher Mbii claimed the top prizes at the just ended 2023 Bok Nam Kim Golf tournament held at the 37 Military Golf Course.
On Saturday, the Bank of Africa partnered with the Bok Nam Kim Golf Club to organize the 2023 edition of the fast-growing tournament.
At the end of the tournament, Lucy Osei Somuah emerged as the winner in the Women’s Division Two with 39 points and a net score of 28, as Helen Baitey (35 points with a net score of 28) and Mona Captan Myles Lamptey (29 points with a net score of 8) settled for second and third places respectively.
In the Men’s Division 1, Christopher Mbii took the first prize with 35 points with a net score of -3, while Rickie Hortubisie claimed second with 33 points and a net score of -2 and Nana Yaw Bamfo finished third with 32 points and a net score of 7.
Kenneth Adjei fought off competition from his peers to win the Men’s Division 2 to win with 36 points with a net score of 18, just ahead of Roger Adama (34 points with a net score of 14) and Lonnie Sarpong (34 points with a net score of 20).
Speaking at the event, outgoing Managing Director, Kobby Andah said the bank’s investment into golf was consistent with its core values.
