Kotoko secured a 3-2 win over Hearts of Oak in an incident-filled game at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday.
From controversial refereeing decisions to comical errors, Sunday’s encounter had it all.
Hearts took the lead when Linda Mtange rose highest to glance home Salifu Ibrahim’s expertly delivered cross.
But on the cusp of half time, Isaac Oppong drew Kotoko level with a snap shot from just inside the box.

If the first half was entertaining, the second half was even more dramatic.
With the score delicately poised at 2-1, a defensive mix up allowed Kotoko to snatch the lead. Kelvin Osei Assibey played a back pass to Richmond Ayi. But the Hearts keeper was not alive to the threat of the onrushing Steve Mukwala.
His late reaction allowed the Ugandan to nick the ball past him before slotting it into an empty net.

Mukwala could not believe his luck. The Hearts fans could not believe it.
It was not Christmas yet but their defense had conspired to give away the biggest gift to no less an opponent than Kotoko; the enemy.
Hearts could only muster a late consolation through winger Martin Karikari.
The Phobians have now managed just two wins in their last ten league matches.
Last month, they were also eliminated from the FA Cup by lower tier side Nania FC.
Meanwhile, Kotoko have now won five out if six matches in all competitions, and four in five in the league.
