The Deputy Ashanti Regional Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Baah Acheamfour has described the 2024 polls as the second independence for Ghanaians.
According to him, Ghanaians need to gain another independence from the Akufo-Addo/Bawumia-led government to make life much better for the citizens.
Speaking on Abusua FM on the show “Gyaso Gyaso”, Baah Acheamfour told members of his party the NDC to work hard to make sure John Dramani Mahama wins the 2024 elections because it very important.
“The hardship in the country has become so unbearable for the Ghanaian youth. We need to win this election for Ghanaians; because the 2024 election is the second independence for the people of this country. John Dramani Mahama is the Kwame Nkrumah of our time who is going to lead Ghanaians to gain this independence”. Baah Acheamfour declared on the show he host monitored by MyNewsGH.com.
Baah Acheamfour on the programme also revealed that, most people in the NPP have realized that the NPP is no longer attractive enough to win the 2024 election and also the need for change has triggered their decision to leave the party.
“They have started leaving their party. They know; that is why Alan Kyerematen chastised people who criticized the Mahama’s 24-hour economy policy”, he stated.
