Women’s Organizer for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Hannah Bissiw, says the NDC intends to face the 2024 elections with a Boot for Boot mentality.
She says that if she is attacked by anyone, she will never resort to the police or other institutions to seek justice.
Rather, she will take the laws into her own hands and ensure that she retaliates in equal measure.
Hannah Bissiw says the NDC is in the contest to fight for the second independence of Ghana and will not leave anything to chance.
What we are saying is that we are for peace but if you touch us it will be boot for boot. We are making sure that the right thing is done at the polling centers and the right results are transmitted. No one can scare us so if the government is peaceful, we will also come with peace.
“If I am attacked I will not resort to the Ghana Police Service because they are not the ones who gave birth to me. When you attack me, I will attack you back in equal measure that is why I have employed the services of a bodyguard who is well built than myself. If you slap me, he will slap you too.”
