A lecturer at the University of Ghana Business School, Kobby Mensah is of the view that Nana Ama Dokua’s decision to quit her constituency, Akuapem North to contest in the Okaikwei North constituency is the most rational decision everyone will take.
To him, no one will want to contest Sammi Awuku who has built himself over the years and is well-accepted by the people, especially in the Akropong North constituency.
He believes that Ama Dokua would have struggled and wasted funds because there is no way she could have beaten Sammi Awuku.
“It is a rational decision because pitching these in Okaikwei North against Sammi Awauku, she will choose to compete with these individuals.
It’s a more rational decision. He’s the campaign manager for the leader of the NPP and he has the money and the love of the people. Who would want to compete with Sammi Awuku,” he said.
