Victory ensured the Ghanaian champions finished the group stage with the same points tally (6) as defending champions A.S Far of Morocco.
However, the competition’s rules for tie breakers (head to head) mean the Ghanaians will finish as group winners since they defeated the Moroccans 3-1.
Sporting Club Casablanca finished second in Group A with four points.
Both teams are making their first appearance in the competition.
Wednesday’s semi-final will be played at the Laurent Pokou Stadium in San Pedro.
