Ghana’s senior national women’s football team, the Black Queens were met by scores of football fans, football administrators, and the National Supporters Union at the Kotoko International Airport.
The team arrived from Pretoria where they sealed qualification to the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) following a 3-2 aggregate win over Namibia.
GFA President Kurt Okraku led a delegation from the association, including his vice Mark Addo, to receive the team.

The Black Queens have been in impressive form under Nora Hauptle, who has led them to ten consecutive wins in eleven competitive matches.
