Black Queens coach Nora Hauptle has done an incredible job since taking charge of Ghana’s senior women’s football team two years ago.
The Queens have won ten out of eleven competitive matches under the Danish trainer.
On Tuesday, despite suffering her first loss as Ghana coach (1-0 to Namibia), Hauptle secured qualification to the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations following a 3-2 aggregate score.
At the sound of the final whistle in Pretoria, Hauptle could not keep her emotions in check as the tears rolled down her cheeks.
