Communications Minister, Ursula Owusu has admonished Ghanaians to stick with the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
She is of the view that times will get better under an NPP government if Ghanaians decide to have faith in the political party.
However, the challenges will persist and be worse if Ghanaians choose to change the government.
“I acknowledge that times are hard but under NPP government it will be well. However, if we change it, it will be from frying pan to fire,” she said on Accra-based Asempa FM.
Ghanaians will be voting for a new leadership in the 2024 elections.
This year’s election is unique because the governing New Patriotic Party hopes to end the eight-year cycle of political parties in the country.
However, the largest opposition political party which has been out of power and are hungry to take over believe they will unseat the NPP.
The NPP is presenting the Vice President of Ghana, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia who is promising bold solutions to Ghana’s problems whereas the NDC’s John Dramani Mahama is hoping to build the Ghana all citizens want.
