Steve Mukwala’s strike on the cusp of half time was enough to settle Monday night’s league match between Asante Kotoko and Berekum Cheslea.
After a nervous start Kotoko finally found a way past Chelsea when the Ugandan striker finished off a fine team move.
For a brief moment Mukwala appeared to have messed it all up with a heavy first touch.
After receiving a tailor-measured pass from Isaac Oppong, Mukwala’s first touch nearly gave the ball away.
However, his perseverance paid off as he recovered to apply the decisive touch to plant the ball into the net.
