A leading member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Upper East Region, Filson Awankua has pleaded with Alan Kyerematen to return to the party which is his first love.
Alan Kyrematen announced his resignation from the New Patriotic Party (NPP) after coming 3rd in the political party’s super-delegates conference.
To him, the current NPP is not the one he joined in 1992, and he therefore believes that his services are no longer needed in the political party.
Alan has as a result declared that he will be contesting the 2024 elections as an independent candidate indicating that his focus will be industrialization and development of the youth in Ghana.
He is of the belief that Alan Kyerematen has a lot to offer the people of Ghana through the NPP, and therefore it is imperative that he return to the party he joined in 1992.
“It is about consistency in life not only in politics, in life you must be consistent in order to achieve the objective that you set before you. But if you are like a rat in the race, moving all over the place, it doesn’t help anybody. So I appeal to him”.
