Continue the attacks; it will help Ghana politics – NDC Chairman to NPP Flagbearer Aspirants

National Democratic Congress (NDC) Nhyiaeso Constituency Chairman, Mr. Ernest Afayam is urging the New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer aspirants to continue their attacks on each other even after the elections of November 4.
He argues the image-smearing attacks and mud being thrown at each candidate are the true situations of those individuals adding that, it will help Ghanaians in making a positive choice in the December 2024 elections.
Speaking on Kumasi-based Ultimate FM, the NDC executive said every word, and every attack should not be considered as just mere politics but reflect the nature of those individuals.
“When you hear Kennedy say, Dr. Bawumia is incompetent and has run this country down, that is the truth because Kennedy knows him well and comes from the same party. Dr. Akoto has also been saying it will be difficult for the NPP to win the 2024 elections with Bawumia and so on; these are not just mere statements. These communications must continue after the November 4th elections”
Mr. Afayam says the NDC is also taking note of all the mudslinging and will reproduce them at the right time depending on who wins, which he believes Dr. Bawumia, who most have described as an established candidate, will emerge as the winner.
“Many people within the NPP and outside of it are tipping Dr. Bawumia to win, we have no problem, he is considered the established candidate, and they will do everything possible to get him to win”, he added.
The Electoral Commission (EC) will supervise the conduct of the elections and will have the full responsibility of ensuring a transparent, free and fair election.
