Former Ghana captain Abedi Ayew ‘Pele’ has said his sons; Andre and Jordan Ayew, have never put a foot wrong for Ghana.
The three-time African Player of the Year leapt to the defense of his sons amidst recent criticisms of their contribution and relevance in the national team.
‘Pele’ who played for the national team fro. 1982 to 1998, says Andre and Jordan have always performed creditably despite the constant criticism.
“They never get it wrong. They’ve never gotten it wrong,” he said.
Before that, he was sent off at the Africa Cup of Nations as Ghana crashed out of the tournament in the group stage.
The brothers are expected to be part of Ghana’s squad list for the African Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast next year.
