Energy Minister, Dr Mathew Opoku Prempeh has assured the people of Krachi Traditional Area in Volta Region of improved power stability.
He says the Energy Ministry and its allied institutions are ensuring that the needed technical interventions are put in place to improve the power stability of the people of the area.n
Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh made this known when attended the Krachiman Yam Festival in Kete Krachi.
Apart from power stability, he also assured the people of the area that work would be done fervently to bring the needed relief to the people on the socio-economic front, even in the face of global challenges.

At the invitation of Krachiwura, Nana Mprah Besemuna III and the Krachi Traditional Council, I was privileged to have attended the Krachiman Yam Festival in Kete Krachi yesterday.
As Special Guest of Honour, I used the opportunity to extend to the entire Krachiman of government’s sympathies and continued efforts at ameliorating the plight of the people of Krachi – part of the affected areas of the flooding at the Lower Volta. This is a result of the effects of climate change. I also indicated that we will make the necessary technical interventions to improve on the power stability of the people of the area.
I further added that the NPP government under the leadership of His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo continues to work fervently to bring the needed relief to the people on the socio-economic front, even in the face of global challenges. This, I said is anchored on leadership, being about service.
I congratulate warmly, the revered Krachiwura and his people on a successful year and for a successful yam festival. May the good Lord continue to shower his blessings, manifest in peace and unity on the people.
