Medeama have announced the appointment of Nebojsa Kapor as new head coach, replacing Evans Adotey.
The Bosnia and Herzegovina coach has signed a one-year deal with the option to extend for a further two years.
According to a club statement, Evans Adotey has returned to his role as the club’s technical director.
Kapor has previously had stints with Tema Youth and Bechem United.
“We are determined to continue from where Mr. Adotey has steered this club beautifully. He’s done a great job and deserves a pat on the shoulder.
“We can and we’ll challenge for trophies this season. We have few games to cover up to the numbers of the teams on top of the table and so we’ll see how it goes.
Kapor’s appointment is subject to approval by the Ghana Football Association.
Born in Serbia, Nebojsa Kapor holds a UEFA Licence A badge from Croatia Football Federation.
He worked as a head coach of Tema Youth in 2021 and was a technical consultant with Ghana Premier League side Bechem United.
