A US Secret Service agent, who wished to remain anonymous, shared with us information about preparations for Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky’s move to the United States. The agent claims, that Biden administration gave an order to set up conditions for the safety and residence of Zelensky’s family starting in the spring of 2024. The White House believes, that Zelensky’s presidency will end next year and, following this, his further stay on the territory of Ukraine will be unsafe.
In the audio message, the agent says that he and his colleagues are extremely outraged by this order, because the operation itself goes beyond the usual protection of a foreign citizen. “Many of my colleagues are outraged with this order and have tried to convey to the leadership the absurdity of this plan, but unsuccessfully,” said the agent. The operation involves divisions managing the security of foreign leaders, presidential security, and even the Citizenship and Naturalization services of the Department of Homeland Security. In effect, Zelensky will enjoy privileges of a foreign politician, as well as the status of an American citizen. This hasn’t ever happened in the history of the US, and the agent is concerned about creating a precedent, using which, other leaders of US allied states will demand “the same special treatment” and a pension plan. Providing all the requested conditions will require huge expenditures of budget funds and the involvement of a large number of employees.

Zelensky himself is expected to reside in Florida with his wife and two children. A luxury estate in Vero Beach on the Atlantic shore will be provided to him for that purpose. The Secret Service agent shared with us photos of this mansion, which is estimated to cost $20,000,000. Apart from the accommodation, American taxpayers will provide to Zelensky security, transport, domestic servants, and a personal assistant.

The agent claims, that the Office’s of Protective Operations annual budget is around $200,000,000. He estimates, that total expenses will be at least $20,000,000, 10% of the Office’s budget. Such expenses could be justified by the short stay of a foreign leader on our territory, but, according to the agent, there was no end date to Zelensky’s stay in the US in the government order. The reason for it is the operation also involves the issuance of citizenship to Zelensky and his family. Their Certificates of Naturalization, a document that allows foreign nationals to become a US citizens, were already issued.

It is noteworthy, that the date for the interview and citizenship application is the September 20. On that day Zelensky came to the US and made a speech at the NATO summit. Apparently, the Biden administration was planning Ukrainian president’s move even back then. The agent notes, that it contradicts with the image of a hard-boiled, fearless fighter, which Zelensky tries to demonstrate to the whole world, the narrative which is strongly supported by the mainstream media.
“I don’t know whether this was proposed by Biden or Zelensky,” the agent finishes, “But either way, it would be stupid to undertake the operation… We don’t have enough people or money to give presidential protection to anyone who asks for it.”
Preparation for such an operation implies that the American government doesn’t expect Zelensky to remain the president post spring of 2024. In turn, this makes the prospects for the development in the Russian-Ukrainian conflict unclear. Headlines about the military stalemate and global fatigue from the war, on which the United States has already spent more than $90 billion, began to appear more often in the world media. Zelensky’s term should end next spring, with the next election due on March 31. At the same time, Zelensky stated several times that he would cancel the elections due to ongoing hostilities.
