Gaël Monfils has one younger brother, Daryl Monfils. Daryl was born in Paris in 1988 and is a former professional tennis player.
He played college tennis at Virginia Commonwealth University and reached a career-high ATP ranking of 1179 in 2017. Daryl retired from professional tennis in 2018 and is now an agent for IMG.
Daryl is a very supportive brother and is often seen cheering on Gaël at his tournaments. The two brothers are very close and have a great relationship.
In a 2019 interview, Gaël said that Daryl is his best friend.
Gaël is also very proud of Daryl’s accomplishments in tennis.
He is always there to offer support and advice. Gaël is lucky to have such a supportive brother.
