Ghana right-back, Dennis Odoi has said the Black Stars will need to better when they face Mozambique in their final group game on Monday.
Ghana need a win against Mozambique, after failing to win their opening two games.
The Black Stars suffered a 2-1 loss Cape Verde in their opening group game before drawing 1-1 with Egypt on Wednesday.
Speaking ahead of Monday’s encounter, the Club Brugge defender the essence of improving on Wednesday’s performance.
“The performance against Egypt was better than that of against Cape Verde,” he said at the pre-match presser.
“It’s important for us if you look at the performances from the first and second, there were some improvements and hopefully we keep growing and performing better,’ he added.
“I think, after the first game, there were issues that had to be sorted. And in the second we were more compact. I think against Mozambique the off the line, we will need to do better.”
Odoi provided the assist for Ghana’s second goal in the 2-2 draw against Egypt on Thursday.
