Hearts coach Martin Koopman has bemoaned the lack of firepower in his team after they slumped to another stalemate in the Ghana Premier League.

The Phobians played out a goalless draw with Dreams FC at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.

The result meant Hearts had scored only a goal in their opening four games in the Ghana Premier League.

Although Koopman retains hope that the team will find their rhythm in no time, he is worried about the lacking of firepower upfront.

”If you see the young team we have and what happened in preseason, you know we did a very good job.”

”We have no striker. I tell you again, we have no striker. Issa (Kukah) has travelled abroad (on loan at Macedonia side Shkupi FC). So I tell them (management of the club) every day that we need a striker and today we missed a striker.” Koopman said.

Hearts of Oak have accumulated just four points from four matches played in the 2023/24 betPawa Premier league season.
