Ghana’s Afua Asantewaa Aduonum, who attempted to break the existing Sing-a-Thon record, has said that she hopes her feat motivates other women.
She believes that it is imperative that women set goals for themselves and work hard to ensure that these goals are achieved, no matter what.
Afua made this known after she ended the sing-a-thon, which started on December 24.
“It has been a smooth journey, a very successful one and we hope and believe this will be an inspiration to all women, all youth and individuals to come out of their comfort zone and try new opportunities. There is a lot you can do when you put your mind to it, you can achieve it,” she said.
Afua Asantewaa used the opportunity to thank all Ghanaians who were present and even those who could not be present at the Akwaaba village.
