Former Finance Minister, Kwabena Duffour has reiterated his commitment to the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and its flagbearer John Dramani Mahama ahead of the 2024 polls.
The former Bank of Ghana Governor has revealed that he is willing and ready to work with John Mahama and the NDC to deliver victory for the political party that has been in opposition for the last seven years.
Dr Duffour made this known in a statement issued on his official social media platforms after he visited the residence of John Dramani Mahama to reciprocate a similar one last week.
He said “I paid a visit to our flagbearer and Former President John Dramani Mahama at his residence as a customary return gesture to his earlier visit to me and my family at my residence. We discussed a range of issues pertinent to our party and the Ghanaian people and the need to work hard towards victory in 2024 together.
I remain committed to the National Democratic Congress ( NDC) and the flagbearer and look forward to working with Former President John Dramani Mahama towards our party’s success and long-term development. Together4Change and for #Victory2024“.
It can be remembered that John Dramani Mahama was at the residence of Dr. Duffour some weeks ago to iron out their differences and seek his support ahead of the 2024 elections.
