Ogum drops Isaac Oppong, Samuel Asamoah for Lions test

Asante Kotoko coach Prosper Narteh Ogum has named a largely unchanged side for this afternoon’s Ghana Premier League match versus Accra Lions.

Isaac Oppong and Samuel Asamoah were the only casualties in an otherwise unchanged team from the side that drew 1-1 with Karela United last weekend.

Nimble-footed winger Baba Yahaya who rescued a point for Kotoko has been rewarded with a place in the starting line up in place of Isaac Oppong.

Full back Augustine Agyapong has also replaced Samuel Asamoah in the only other change to Ogum’s line-up.

Kotoko are winless in three league matches this season.

Kotoko’s only points have come at home where they have drawn both league matches against Kpando Heart of Lions (0-0) and Karela United (1-1).

The match will kick off at 4 PM at the Accra Sports Stadium today.
