GFA postpones Heart of Lions versus Hearts of Oak match

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has postponed the Ghana Premier League match between Kpando Heart of Lions and Accra Hearts of Oak.

The match was originally scheduled to be played on Sunday at the Sogakope Red Bull Arena as part of the match day five fixtures.

A statement from the GFA said, “the matchday 5 betPawa Premier League match between Heart of Lions FC and Accra Hearts Of Oak SC slated for tomorrow Sunday, October 15,2023 has been postponed indefinitely by the Ghana Football Association.”

“This is due to the spillage of the Volta dam which has affected Sogakope. The GFA will continue to monitor the situation and announce a new date for the match in due course.” the statement concluded.

The rest of fixtures will go ahead as planned.

On Saturday Bofoakwa Tano will play Bibiani Gold Stars in Sunyani.

The Sunday fixtures are;

Berekum Chelsea versus Nations FC

Legon Cities versus Bechem United

Real Tamale United versus Karela United

Samartex 1996 versus Dreams FC

Accra Great Olympics versus Accra Lions is scheduled for Monday.
