Veteran musician producer, Buddy RoRo has disclosed how Nigerians used Ghanaian sound as a yardstick in the early 2000s.

According to the popular sound engineer, the likes of 2face and Tony Tetuila used to follow Tic Tac to Ghana when he was producing his songs.

Talking to Amansan Krakye on Property FM, Buddy RoRo said Nigerians were coming to Ghana because the country had sound and identity.

“Nigerians used our sound as yardstick in those days I was working at Best Brain and recording Tic Tac songs like Kwani Kwani.

“In those days 2face, D Banj and Tony Tetuila were following Kenny’s Music to Hong Kong and followed Tic Tac to our studio.

“These people were following because we had our sound and identity so comparing Nigeria music to Ghana didn’t start today,” he monitored by MyNewsGh.com
