The game between Bournemouth and Luton Town in the Premier League was stopped when Tom Lockyer, the captain of the Hatters, went down in the center circle.

This incident happened only a few months after Lockyer experienced a similar situation during the Championship play-off final. The center back unexpectedly went to his knees and then to his front at the Vitality Stadium at the hour mark, apparently without any opposition contact.

He was given quick medical attention, and Luton manager Rob Edwards hurried onto the field to assist and lead the players off.

Lockyer got care for several minutes before both teams exited the field. Eventually, supporters yelled his name as he was carried off the field on a stretcher and wrapped in a black blanket. Lockyer
