Ghana Premier League giants Accra Hearts of Oak are set to sign free agent Kwame Baah.

The Phobians have been on the market for goalkeeping reinforcements following high profile errors by first choice goalkeeper Richmond Ayi.

Ayi conceded a stoppage time goal after spilling a harmless shot as Hearts drew 1-1 with Nations FC. Prior to that, the former WAFA goalkeeper had failed to save Isaac Oppong’s tame effort, resulting in a goal in Hearts 3-2 loss to Asante Kotoko.

The situation is exacerbated by the fitness level of goalkeeper Richard Attah, who has looked overweight.

Kwame Baah trained with the Phobians on Monday, December 18, ahead of his registration on Wednesday.

If all goas well, the former Black Meteors goalkeeper will sign a three year contract with the Phobians on Wednesday, before his registration.

He will then be eligible to feature in Hearts of Oak’s upcoming fixture against Great Olympics in the Ghana Premier League.

Kwame Baah has been a free agent since he was released from his contract by Hearts rivals, Kumasi Asante Kotoko.
