Ghana coach Chris Hughton says Arsenal have no choice than to release Thomas Partey for the African Cup of Nations.
Ghana face a battle for the services of Thomas Partey who only resumed individual training last week, ahead of the African Cup of Nations.
Partey has not played since October after successive injuries kept him out of action for both club and country.

Speaking to UK-based broadcaster talkSport, Chris Hughton was in no mood to entertain the possibility of not having the Black Stars captain at the tournament.

Chris Hughton has named Thomas Partey in Ghana’s provisional AFCON squad.
Ghana have been drawn in Group B, with Cape Verde, Egypt and Mozambique for the tournament in Ivory Coast.
The 2023 African Cup of Nations will start from January 13 2024 to February 11 2024.
