This was contained in Nanahemaa Awindor’s speech during a two-day capacity building workshop for traditional rulers organised jointly by the UNFPA and her NGO on the issue of child marriage under the theme,”Ending Child Marriage in Ghana One Paramouncy at a Time”.

The Queen mother added that traditional leaders had a pivotal role to play ending the menace of teenage pregnancy and child marriage, urging them to work assiduously towards ending the problem through working with other stakeholders and law enforcement agencies.
