The Brave Warriors of Namibia played out a goalless draw with Ghana in an internationally friendly on Monday.

Ghana, who trained at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium before the game, looked completely disfigured.

Injuries to Antoine Semenyo and Salid Abdul Samed kept them out of the match.

Chris Hughton’s team that featured a double pivot of Elisha Owusu and Baba Idrissu, struggled to find their rhythm and were reduced to counter attacking opportunities.

Ghana’s build-up was ponderous and without intensity, allowing the Namibians to regroup every time their hosts threatened to attack.

Up to 20,000 spectators turned up to bid farewell to the team Black Stars in what was their penultimate exercise.

Ghana will leave for Ivory Coast on Wednesday, January 10, 2024.
