Tolon MP Supports Seamstresses, Weavers With Machines, Cash

The Member of Parliament for the Tolon constituency, who doubles as the Second Deputy Majority Whip, has supported seamstresses and weavers in the Tolon constituency.

The Tolon MP supported the seamstresses and weavers with sewing machines and an undisclosed amount.

About ninety-three (93) seamstresses and sixty-three (63) weavers benefited from the support.

A Facebook post by the Member of Parliament for the Tolon constituency read, “I graced the graduation ceremony of the association of seamstresses and weavers in Tolon. I donated a tailor and cash support to each of the ninety-three (93) seamstresses.”.

“I also made a cash donation to all sixty-three (63) weavers who graduated as my little support for them to start up businesses on their own”.

The Member of Parliament for the Tolon constituency is going unopposed in the upcoming New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary primaries.

The Second Deputy Majority Whip has been allowed to lead the NPP in the Tolon constituency for the second time in the 2024 general elections.
