Figure skating history will never forget the name Kamila Valieva. She is a prodigy whose journey has been both spectacular and turbulent.

This Kazani phenomenon, who was born in 2006, began skating at the young age of three, her skill developing under the guidance of famous coach Eteri Tutberidze.

Valieva’s ascent was swift. She was making history by 2021 when she became the first female competitor to successfully land a quadruple jump.

She gained the nickname “The Quad Queen” due to her gracefulness and athleticism, which enthralled spectators.

The Winter Olympics in Beijing in 2022 were meant to be Valieva’s defining event.

Her ethereal performance in the team event left commentators stunned as she guided the Russian team to gold.
