Deborah Seyram Adablah, a sidechick who filed a suit against her sugar daddy Ernest Kwasi Nimako and lost is set to appeal the case.
Yesterday an Accra High court threw her out saying her case failed to prove a cause of action.
The court in striking out the case agreed with lawyers for Ernest Kwasi Nimako that the case lacks merit.
The Lawyers for Kwasi Nimako from the prestigious Kulendi@Law argued before the court that Deborah Seyram Dablah did not disclose any reasonable cause of action and that “the contract she was seeking to enforce if at all, was an ilegal contract”.
In striking out the case, court agreed with the Counsels for Kwasi Nimako that no substantive issue was raised by Deborah Seyram Adablah in her suit.
But Deborah Seyram Adablah has since signalled her intentions to appeal the case.
“My lawyer will apply for the ruling and apply the LAW accordingly – The case is NOT OVER!” She wrote.
She also advised media to be circumspect in publications on her case. She singled out UTV for criticism.
“Hey UTV managers or whatever you are called, be very careful of how you use my name and pictures for your lies. If you joke with me, I’ll sue you and demand more than you can afford. Don’t be silly. Stop publishing lies about me, I did not give you permission to use my name and pictures for clout,” she wrote on TikTok.
