Former Asante Kotoko coach Prince ‘Sabuto’ Acheampong has been appointed as the head coach of Women’s Premier League side Kumasi Sports Academy.
Sabuto, who replaces Charles Anokye Frimpong, has signed a two-year contract with the Kumasi based club.
Prince Acheampong first coached in the women’s game when he was hired as head coach of Fabulous Ladies in 2020.
Club sources say he has been asked to guide the team to a top-four finish for the 2023/24 campaign.
Kumasi Sports Academy started their season with a 2-1 win over Pearl Pia Ladies in the Northern Zone of the Women’s Premier League.
