Argentina striker Lautaro Martinez has reportedly agreed to renew his contract with Inter Milan.
Martinez will sign the new €7 million a season contract, valid until 2028.
The Argentine’s current contract with Inter runs out at the end of June 2026. The current contract was a 2021 extension, signed three years after he joined Inter from Racing Club.
The extension was expected considering Martinez’s brilliant performances for Inter. Martinez has finished as the clubs topscorer in each of the past two seasons.
He has already scored 15 goals in the current season and is the topscorer of Serie A.
The extension is expected to be announced before the end of the year.
