Madagascar coach Romuald “Roro” Rakotondrabe has dared the Black Stars ahead of today’s 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifier.
The two teams will meet at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium at 4 PM, in what will be their second meeting on Ghanaian soil in five months.
Ghana won the previous meeting, an AFCON 2023 Qualifier, in Cape Coast, by 3-0.

Speaking at Thursday’s press conference, the Madagascan coach warned of a different contest this time.
”We didn’t come to Ghana for holidays. We came to win. We are going to do anything possible to win against the Black Stars,” he said during the pre-match press conference.
The 3-0 win in Cape Coast was one of two recent meetings between Ghana and Madagascar.
The other match; the reverse fixture in the AFCON 2023 Qualifiers, ended in a stalemate in Antananarivo.
In the group’s other matches, Mali host Chad while at 7 PM, while the Central African Republic play as guests to Comoros at 1 PM.
