Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana will not join Cameroun’s Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) campaign until after Manchester United’s Premier League match versus Tottenham Hotspurs.
This follows an agreement between Manchester United and the Cameroun Football Federation.
Today’s agreement means the 27-year-old will be available for Manchester United’s FA Cup third-round tie against Wigan Athletic on Monday and the match against Spurs at Old Trafford six days later.
Onana will then fly to Ivory Coast for Cameroun’s Guinea in their opening match on January 15.
Onana was named in Cameroon’s 27-man squad for the AFCON last Thursday.
