NOTE: I didn’t just go to suggest to my Bosses we have to be the electronics sponsor because of the awards I received from her outfit because deep down I won those on on merit and not any favour from anyone but God and my works, I worked hard for any recognition and rewards. I just decided from the on spot, this was going to be a positive one, and knowing that, the woman behind GOWA was attempting it, I knew it will be good, she is good, hardworking, tenacious, humble, goal oriented, achiever and result oriented. I saw Asantewaa’s can do spirit to achieve this and whatelse will any marketing professional expect for the brands she works for if not to be associated with worthy projects, initiatives and potentials that draws positive attention, creation and awareness. What a way to end my end of year Marketing/ Media Relations Calendar.
I remember when we went to the backdrop for picture at GOWA, with a very low voice said to her Asantewaa wow, wow thank you. she said “ hajia we have been seeing how you do things for the women in your communities, your advocacy started a year we started this event, we have been watching you and you have been consistent with it, with or without an award, you deserve this, your track record is there to show for it. Congrats to you.”
Proud of you. You saw my works and honoured me in Ghana but God have been taking stock of your works and decided to reward and honour you globally.
A woman can! It is Possible! Women must support each other genuinely because one woman’s win is for all of us.
