Accra Hearts of Oak suffered a humiliating first round loss to Nania FC in the FA Cup on Wednesday.

The Phobians converted only one out of their first four spot kicks in the shoot out and eventually lost 3-1.

Despite playing their first competitive match on the Pobiman Sports Complex, the Phobians failed to beat the lower tier side.

While the kicks were generally poor, the pick of thee lot was that of Hearts of Oak goalkeeper Richard Attah.

Attah stayed central and assumed a body position that gave no clues about which direction or angle his effort would go.

Well, in the end, the Nania FC goalkeeper needed no such clues as the former Elmina Sharks goalie fired his effort way off target.

The Cup exit is the latest blow to the Phobians who sacked head coach Martin Koopman over uninspiring performances.

The Dutch trainer won just three league matches in his 12 matches in charge. He drew six times and lost the remaining three.
