Richmond Lamptey’s inclusion in Ghana’s final list for the African Cup of Nations was met with wild celebrations in the camp of Asante Kotoko.
On Monday, Black Stars coach Chris Hughton named the Asante Kotoko midfielder as part of 27 players selected to represent Ghana at the African Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast.
After the announcement, Lamptey’s teammates joined him with congratulatory messages amidst wild celebrations.

Lamptey will join Ghana’s pre-tournament camp on Tuesday in Kumasi.
