Ghanaian musician, King Promise has expressed his gratitude to his fans for their support throughout the year, particularly during his nomination for the Artiste of the Year category at the 2024 Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA).

He acknowledged that even though he did not win the highly sought-after Artiste of the Year award at the TGMA 2024, despite the overwhelming support, he remains optimistic about the future.

King Promise encouraged his fans to continue supporting Ghanaian music, emphasizing that it’s not just about him, but about all the artistes who contribute to its global recognition.

“Love my Ghanaians, bro, everything!!! I’m thankful we’re here!!! Let’s go. It’s Ghana to the world, not just KP to the world. I love my fans.

“You guys made this my best year yet, and nothing could change that!!! Stars no y3 baako baako 5,” he wrote on X after his colleague, Stonebwoy, was declared Artiste of the Year.

The ‘Terminator’ hitmaker was the one predicted by some celebrities and entertainment pundits to win the Artiste of the Year. However, he missed out on the ultimate after winning 3 awards.

King Promise’s ‘Terminator’ was adjudged Best Afropop Song of the Year and Most Popular Song of the Year. He also took home the Best Afrobeats/Afropop Artiste of the Year award.
