A video has popped up on social media, purported to be a funeral ceremony being organized for England football Legend Sir Bobby Charlton.
The one-time World Cup winner passed away in England in a care home where he fell and suffered some fractures that have been suggested aggravated his health conditions.
His family has requested privacy and out-of-camera funeral rites from public view at the Manchester Cathedral but here in Ghana whose only connection to the footballing Legend is colonial ties with England, a funeral ceremony with attendees in black and red has happened in Tesano a suburb of Accra.
It is unclear what might have influenced this funeral ceremony of the England legend.
His pictures and banner can be spotted at the grounds of the funeral ceremony, just like that of a normal funeral of a Ghanaian underway.
Some individuals are spotted in the Ghana colors supporters’ attire singing and drumming local songs popularly known as jama there.

Sir Bobby Charlton had a 17-year playing career with Manchester United, winning three league cups with United and other trophies, including the FA Cup.
He Played 106 times for England, winning the 1966 World Cup and also winning the enviable individual honour Ballon Dor.
