Users of social media did not mince words in attacking former defender, John Paintsil when he made an appearance on Accra-based United Television’s United Showbiz.
Paintsil seemed lost and out of touch with the realities affecting football in Ghana.
The ex-footballer tried to downplay the objective of the recent demonstration to drive home the need for a change in football.
His position did not sit down well with people who monitored the show and they described him with some unsavoury words showing the kind of anger in the hearts of the Ghanaian populace who have been calling for the right things to be done in every sector of the country’s economy.
John Paintsil who has been and continues to be in Football according to social media users is aware of the problems but was just being a hypocrite; something which will continue to sink football in the West African country.
