Kaakyire Kwame Appiah, a prominent Ghanaian veteran musician has said carelessness by drivers should be blamed for road accidents.
According to the ‘Kwadonto’ hitmaker, he doesn’t understand why Ghanaians blame witches and spirituality whenever careless driving leads to accidents.
He said the quest by commercial drivers to make more money during this festive season and the desire by individuals to get to their destination early makes them overspeed.
“By rushing with too much speed it can be dangerous but we often blame witches and lesser gods or spirits for certain mishaps that we caused,” he said during an interview with Amansan on Property FM.
