Former President John Mahama and his wife, Lordina Mahama, have congratulated M rsAfua Asantewaa O. Aduonum for her attempt to set a world record for the longest singing time by a person (sing-a-thon), saying that her feat is a source of pride for Ghanaians.

John Mahama, in a social media post, lauded Mrs Aduonum for her dedication, talent and perseverance, adding that her “passion for singing and commitment to promoting Ghanaian music worldwide is a significant inspiration to us all.”

“You have proven that anything is possible with hard work and determination, and we do not doubt that you will continue to reach new heights.

Once again, congratulations on this phenomenal accomplishment, and may you continue to shine,” John Mahama wrote.

Mrs Aduonum is hoping to set a new sing-a-thon world record ( Guinness World Record) after she sang for six days straight. Her attempt has received praise for seeking to promote Ghanaian music and inspire others.
