After Sonnie Badu’s Rhythms of Africa live concert which was held at the Grand Arena on Saturday 9th December, a lot of revelations are coming out.

The Ghanaian gospel singer and songwriter has shockingly revealed how he sold his Rolex wristwatch the morning of the event to fund some aspects of the concert.

Sonnie Badu who has become one of Africa’s most popular gospel acts said the support he got for his concert was just a drop in the ocean.

He disclosed monitored by MyNewsGh.com “We planned this event five months ahead of schedule and we gave out sponsorship letters to a lot of organizations.

“But the few who came to support us and if you compare that with what we spent on the whole event it’s like a drop in the ocean.

“A lot of my investment went into this event and even this morning(December 9, 2023) I had to sell my Rolex wristwatch to fund certain aspects of the event,” he revealed.
