Popular Kumasi-based Radio Presenter with Angel FM, a subsidiary of the Angel Broadcasting Network (ABN), Ike De Unpredictable has taken Gospel Musician, Sonnie Badu to the cleaners over recent comments.
The media personality born Nana Obiri Yeboah noted that the comments of Sonnie Badu about the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and founder of Angel Group of Companies, Dr Kwaku Oteng were uncouth indicating that he should be ashamed of himself.
Sonnie Badu slammed Dr Kwaku Oteng for ignoring his calls after he (Dr Kwaku Oteng) promised to support his program dubbed Rhythms of Africa held on Saturday, December 9, 2023.
Though Sonnie Badu has since rendered an unqualified apology to the business mogul, Ike De Unpredictable believes Sonnie Badu actions towards Dr Kwaku Oteng were immature.
Commenting on Sonnie Badu’s interview, the Kumasi-based Angel Drive Time Host stated that Sonnie Badu’s actions towards Dr Kwaku Oteng disqualify him from being a good leader.
“Sonnie Badu’s actions were uncouth, and he should be ashamed of himself for portraying that habit on social media” Ike De Unpredictable stated.
“Though Dr Kwaku Oteng is the CEO of Angel Group of Companies, he is not the only one who makes decisions in the company. When Sonnie Badu was seeking sponsorship, he went to Dr Kwaku Oteng’s house but why didn’t he go back to his house when he not picking up his calls than to sit on social media and rant” he quizzed.
“Is Sonnie Badu is trying to tell Ghanaians that he answers every phone call? So you are Sonnie Badu so you think if Dr Kwaku Oteng is not busy and should stop everything he is doing and answer your calls because you are Sonnie Badu”, he wondered
“Though Dr Kwaku Oteng is the CEO of Angel Group of Companies, the board of the company can decline his decision sometimes. If he is willing to sponsor a certain program with Angel Beverages, the board can say no”, he explained
Ike De Unpredictable however advised Sonnie Badu to do the right thing at the right time and know what to discuss in public when he gets the opportunity to grant interviews.
