Former General Secretary for the Convention Peoples Party (CPP), Nana Yaa Jantuah, is of the view that Ghanaians need to vote out the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for the poor implementation of the Free SHS policy.

She is of the view that the policy is a groundbreaking one which has been poorly implemented, hence the numerous challenges.

Nana Yaa Jantuah was speaking on TV3 when she made these comments.

To her, if the government fails to implement the novel policy and forces headteachers who take extra money from students to step aside, then the government itself needs to step aside.

“Everyone knows that free SHS, a good educational programme is not being implemented properly because of funding issues. The government is broke; it has no money.

If they are telling people to set aside, 2024 Ghanaians should set aside NPP. The point is that if they know how to set aside people who have taken GHC20 and GHC10, then they should set themselves aside. If not 2024, I’m urging Ghanaians to set this government aside.
