The former President of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama has questioned the competence of the Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo-led administration over the exchange rate.
To John Dramani Mahama, the exchange rate has exposed how incompetent the current administration of the country is.
The former President was reacting to a 2016 tweet by Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo where he blamed bad leadership for the exchange rate which was Ghc 3.72 to a Dollar.
An obviously clueless, incompetent & ‘yenkyendi’ government.
The $ is today trading above 15 GHC.

In a tweet on X reacting to the current exchange rate and the struggling cedi, John Dramani Mahama said “An obviously clueless, incompetent & ‘yenkyendi’ government. The $ is today trading above 15 GHC”.
He promised to rest Ghana and repair the damage to the Ghanaian economy.
