Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has acknowledged that Ghana has been through rough times.
He says these crises affected every aspect of the economy, including the prices of goods.
The New Patriotic Party flagbearer indicated that the people were right in complaining about the challenges; however, recent developments indicate that times are getting better.
The Vice President made this known when he joined a number of Ghanaians at the Akwaaba village to cheer Afia Aduonum who is attempting to break a Guinness World Record for the longest singing period.
Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia noted that currently, prices, rather than going up, are falling, an indication that “even though we are not where we want to be yet, I think that the recovery is in progress and we just need to continue.”
